Title: The Thunderous Arc
History: "So...What's up?" asked Aran, jumping over a bench and sitting down next to his best friend. He was told to meet him there, at the bench on the hill over looking Twilight Town. There was something that he had really wanted to talk to him about. His friend looked over the town, not saying a word. Then turning his head to look at Aran, he smiled.
"You know that haunted mansion past the woods, right?".
"Yeah...What about it?".
"Well, we're going to go explore it. Aren't you curious to see what's in there?" his friend urged on, trying to get Aran to see reason behind it. Wanting him to come and help explore the unknown of the building. The two of them had both planned on entering it when they were little kids, saying that when they were older, they would discover what was inside that mansion. "C'mon, we made a promise to do this!".
"Fine, alright. You got me! So...When are we leaving?" He asked, raising an eyebrow with a smile at his dear friend. Least what he knew, Aran would no longer remember his friend for long, nor anyone else. What they would find in that mansion would change him, drastically.
"Now! C'mon, I'll race you there!" yelled his friend excitingly, sprinting off the bench and down the hill into town.
"Hey! You rotten...!!!" yelled back Aran, chasing after his friend down the hill. He always did that, getting a head start. Aran was the faster of them though, he had to admit. Catching up with his friend, Aran passed him and made his way through the woods, running in between trees like a gazelle. His friend was running out of breath but, he kept running on ahead to the mansion. Stopping at the gates, Aran turned to face the woods, waiting for his friend. The young man coming out, not precisely in the best shape of his life, caming walking into view.
"C'mon now, you really need to get into shape if you plan on racing me. You know that!" teased Aran, leaning against the gate. Upon leaning on it, the gate opened and caused Aran to fall backward with a soft thud. His friend laughed his head off, getting down his knees in laughter. "Yeah. And maybe you should think about where you lean perhaps!".
Getting up from his fall, Aran brushed himself off and placed his hands behind his head. He shrugged it off and just grinned. It was just part of his personality. Turning around toward the gates then, he entered and walked up to the door. There were broken stone pillars out side and tall green hedges. Both young men entered the mansion and looked around the main part of the building. Aran started for the right staircase, while his friend went for the left.
Aran opened the door and saw a huge hole in the floor with a staircase leading down into a basement, was what he thought. Slowly descending down the stairs, he walked toward the door and jerked back some as the door whooshed open. He looked around from the outside and then entered. The basement was looking pretty suspicious, being all technology-like. It was looking more like a lab of sorts. There were computers, screens, and this strange device that looked like some telaporter thing. Looking about, Aran started fooling around on the keyboard, wondering what it did. As he clicked something, a beam came up in the telaporter device. Being as curious as he was, Aran stepped into the beam. He was instantly telaported to somewhere, didn't know where yet, his eyes were closed. As he slowly opened his eyes, he saw that he was in the same room. Stepping out, he was a little bit disappointed in the device and declared it faulty. But as he looked over to the computers, he saw that they were smashed up. Looking more around the room, he saw that there was black hole-like thing in the corner of the room. Something was tugging at him to get closer to the black thing, like there was a secret darkness inside of him. Finally, he let the feeling take over and walked into the black hole.
He found himself in a swirling world of color, and couldn't understand how he was able to walk on it like there was a floor. It looked like it went on forever but, Aran found himself at the end and in a new environment once again. But this area was darker, more human like. There were tall buildings and it was raining. He was in an alleyway when he walked out and then was back into open space. As he walked along, Aran felt as if someone or something was watching him. Behind him, strange little black creatures with glowing yellow eyes were appearing out from the ground. Hearing the slight noise, Aran quickly turned around to see Heartless pouncing on him. The last thing he saw was darkness but, though that darkness, he saw a figure in a black cloak standing on top of a building. His heart and will were too strong for it though.
Awaken....
"W-Where am I?" asked Aran, rising off of the ground to his feet, rubbing his head. He was in a dark world...and it was raining. But it felt like home.
"You, kid, are now part of the Organization. I know you'll have questions, so just come with me and I'll answer what I can for you...," said the cloaked figure, putting an arm around Aran's shoulder as they walked among the streets.
You, are a Nobody...
...Now part of Organization XIII...
...An Organization that dreams of becoming whole.
